  Job Description: Advisory:  Advising management on all matters pertaining to smooth functioning of the department.  Advising on R & D and technical requirements of the process. Supervision & Planning:  Supervising the overall processing of soap noodles and to ensure that product is in requisite quantity and of standard quality at optimum cost in adherence to laid down standards of Quality and GMP.  Planning availability of raw material, packaging material, etc from Material Stores, well in time to ensure uninterrupted production to achieve production targets.  Develop technical documents including instruction manuals and procedure manuals & SOP’s.  Plan work flow, manage multiple priorities and meet daily production targets while consistently reducing downtime.  Collaborates with Factory Engineer to schedule planned maintenance, preventive maintenance and determine spare parts need of the plant and equipment for the plant.  To promote occupational health and safety awareness; and monitor that safety related functions.
