Ameet has been an incredible mentor to me for the last 8 years. Initially, as an A Level student set on studying medicine, I was inspired by Ameet’s passion and dedication to improving patient care, kind approach with patients, and humble, effective leadership. Through the course of my medical school, he was an encouraging and knowledgable resource who was always present and easy to talk to. Additionally, over the past years, I have had the privilege to work with Ameet in clinical research, to which he has dedicated a considerable amount of his career. He is a thorough and insightful expert with an innovative perspective towards clinical problems. Now, as I embark on my first year as a junior doctor, Ameet remains a role model to me and what I want to achieve in my career.
