Atlanta Tamasha is the largest Bollywood dance competition in the Southeast with hundreds in attendance each year, and teams traveling from across the country to battle for "the crown". As Vice President of Programming, I am in charge of many of the logistical and financial aspects of the competition. Some of my duties for the upcoming year include: - Managing hospitality & registration committees, ensuring the timely execution of: venue set up, food catering, and team hosting. - Meeting with domestic corporations and restaurants to assist in fundraising efforts for the competition. Some notable and important successes included: - Compiling roughly 80,000 possible keywords to focus our SEO strategy on, with that list eventually being narrowed down to a few dozen. - Creating a sustainable social media strategy that highlighted popular articles, advancements, etc. in the tech community on a weekly basis. At Microf, I worked with a team of interns to handle consumer applications, conduct data analysis, maintain meaningful customer relationships, manage over 400+ consumer and contractor accounts, and create relevant training modules for future interns. With Microf, I would work with customers and contractors on a daily basis. I would often be in charge of inputting highly sensitive information into our consumer applications, running the application through our soft credit check, and then working with the consumer on a finance plan for their HVAC unit. I would also often work with our network of contractors, guiding them through any issues they had with their customers or providing them the relevant information they needed to continue with an installation. During my time at Microf, we were able to see a 60% overall increase in efficiency in regards to consumer applications.
