Abdiel has been working with Edenz colleges for at least six months now and has had excellent feedback from students. Although I haven’t had the personal experience of watching him teach, I am confident of his teaching skills and he regularly attends our professional development.

It’s my honour and pleasure to write this recommendation for Abdiel. As the Head of Language Department, I enjoyed having him on my teaching team for four months. He brought with him a solid background along with great energy and enthusiasm. He also impressed me with his commitment to his students. He showed excellent classroom management skills and developed a rapport with students and colleagues. He has my highest recommendation for the position of English teacher and I look forward to hearing about the accomplishments that lie in his professional future.

Feb 2021 - Oct 2021
During the year of 2021 I enrolled for a Business Diploma in Branding. I thought it would be interesting to do a part time job in a field that is mainly focused on customer service. Neo was a popular place among professionals who worked around the area; tourists and locals would also frequent the restaurant. I learnt a lot from how different people behave in social gatherings depending on where they are from which I found fascinating. I was able to build a positive rapport with customers. Show less

Academic Coordinator and English Language Teacher

Nov 2010 - Aug 2014
Harmon Hall is the leading English Teaching Institute of Mexico. After gaining prior teaching experience I bettered myself professionally in order to get a teaching position at HH. Soon after teaching I was offered a Teacher Training/Coordinator Position in which I was responsible for managing and training teachers, planning and delivering English classes to all skill levels, supervising staff, design training sessions, leading weekly meetings, student support and retention. Additionally, my role was to deliver consistent teacher training for academic and marketing purposes. I tailor-developed training sessions for teachers; enabling strong development of individuals by enhancing their skillset and ensuring consistency of our product across the business. Our courses were on a monthly basis, therefore, as the Academic Coordinator, I was in charge of the student retention; ensuring our institute to meet monthly enrolment and re-enrolment targets. I would design marketing strategies involving teaching and marketing staff along with the institute's director. As a result we would consistently meet our targets, placing our institute as the number one within our region and the among one of the top ones nationwide. Show less
