Bloomfield Agro Products is my family's agriculture startup that my father and I started in 2007. With the vision to revolutionize agriculture in the developing world, we have made steady progress in enabling Organic Farming in India and creating a market for organic produce in India's metropolitan cities. We are currently working with over 5000 farmers in 3 states in India; our 15+ product lines of organic nutrients have increased yield and bolstered crop productivity by ~40%. Additionally, we also offer technical know-how to our farmers and support them in their implementation of organic farming practices. Most recently, we have launched our own brand of organic products that we are bringing from farm directly to consumers' doorsteps (thereby eliminating at least 4 layers of middlemen). This has resulted in farmers receiving 30% more remuneration than they previously did, thereby enhancing their living standards. Additionally, we have also started exporting high quality mangoes and grapes to countries such as the Netherlands, UK, and Ireland. Bloomfield aims to expand its base across the rest of India and other nations. Show less

Jan 2019 - Jan 2021
Talent IPO was a platform that enabled university affiliated investors to fund the educational expenses of current students, in exchange for a % of their future income (for a set period of time - an Income Share Agreement). With $1.5T of student debt, we believe the education financing model is broken, and loans are a tremendous burden on students. This burden suppresses student potential, and forces them to make career decisions based on fear - and not actual interest. Talent IPO started as a class project, and took off on a pilot stage before the pandemic began. Show less
