  In 2010 I founded the Crescent Double Quartet with the idea to combine a jazz quartet with a string quartet. In our first project we have used the possibilities of this unique ensemble to make some deep and dramatic arrangements of some Coltrane pieces and my own compositions. In 2011 we took up the challenge to write our own compositions. Together with the Turkish piano player Kaan Biyikoglu I developed a brand new repertoire, situated between modern jazz, classical music and world music. This project resulted in the release of our debut album 'Radio Mundial' and an extended tour in the Netherlands.

  Het Raadsel used to be a comic distributer or wholesale. My job was to manage the import and distribution of US comics (mostly trough Diamond). Our costumers were the specialized comic book shops in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
