As a member of the Integrated Diagnostics Systems I worked on Molecular and Microbiology algorithm development used for disease detection on the Phoenix 100/M50, BD Max, and ViperLT instruments. Additional development for support was provided to the BACTEC product lines to include 9050, 9240 and FX40. This work involved web, mobile and standalone application development in both Windows and Linux environments. Along with standard development activities I was involved with the BDXpert Team to support their Expert System. This is an older type of A.I. that is used to evaluate specific conditions of patient results. In general this role was a versatile environment including many disciplines. Show less

Cti requested several updates to the Department of Labor web site to migrate from an ASP to ASP.NET 2.0 environment. I designed and implemented a migration strategy to facilitate the conversions. The task was to take several legacy ASP pages and break them into a standard 3-teir model that can be partially automated. The FAA requested integration of their training record management application and Crystal Reports to display their regular forms. I designed and implemented mechanisms to retrieve data from stored procedures in Oracle, retrieve the ADO.NET based Crystal Reports from the Business Objects XI R2 repository, and then merge these two sources of data that were viewable on a web based Crystal Report s components.
