I support our product by providing technical customer support, writing documentation, reviewing incidents, finding workarounds and facilitating long term solutions. Prior to, and during product launches, I work closely with the other engineering teams to identify problems, bugs, or other issues with the software or hardware that need to be fixed during Alpha and/or Beta testing.I am also responsible for creating and maintaining a number of reports that measure our performance, call out possible areas of concern and areas of possible improvement, report our status to company execs, and other reports used to support our marketing and development teams. During my time at IntelliServ, I've automated our reports to run off a central and validated set of data, with provisions and processes put in place to keep the reports accessible, up-to-date, and with validated data as a backing.

In this small start-up company, I am primarily working with the owner/creator in developing and expanding the product line they carry. This covers working on marketing, packaging, selling, pricing, researching the market, researching the competition, etc. Everything necessary to launch a product. I concentrate mostly on testing and designing products and kits.Recently, I've worked to design and manufacture a custom robot board designed for flexibility and low cost for the education market. I've worked with every phase of the product from design, implementation as a prototype, layout in an electronic CAD system, interfacing with the customers and gathering feedback, revisions and debugging, to get this product to market.

While studying electrical engineering full time at BYU, I had a 30 hour-a-week job where I managed backup and restore data for the BYU Law school as well as fixed incidental problems in student's and faculty's computers. This included replacing and/or repairing hardware and peripherals, interfacing directly with the students, faculty, and repair depots, and documenting and tracking progress and solutions. When issues continually re-occurred, I would document and publish instructions and guidelines for the other technicians and users to follow.Besides customer support, I was tasked to manage our printing and our print server. I worked with Linux, Mac, and Windows computers and servers as well as Sharp, Xerox, and HP printers.

While as a student at BYU I was the gate captian in charge of taking care of any problems that occurred at the northwest entrance to the college stadium, whether it be with patrons or with the other student employees. Within a year I worked my way to be in charge of the all the gates on the east side of the stadium where I managed the gate captains and any problems they need help with or can not handle on their own. These ranged from upset customers, to facility problems, to problems with employees.

I started out as a dishwasher, and within two months of working there had worked through dishwasher to prep cook up to being a cook. As a cook I worked as the shift lead for the night crew, with responsibilities over inventory control and personnel allocation for cleaning and shutting down the location each night. I was also in-charge of opening the location on select Saturday mornings and running the facility until management arrived.
