Preferred Systems was a one stop IBM clone shop located in Kingsport, TN. While working there I went from assembling custom built clone computers, to installing full networks from the ground up. Some of the skills I learned during this time:- Microsoft DOS- Microsoft Windows 3.1, 3.11, 95, 95B- Novell Netware 3.11, 3.12, 4.0, 4.1- Ethernet: 10Base-2, 10Base-T, and 100Base-TLater I was promoted to being the office manager. I was instrumental in setting up the core infrastructure for this local internet service provider.
