Mr. Licker is the Principal and Lead Analyst at Licker Geospatial Consulting Co. (LGeo). Launched in January 2017, LGeo represents a life goal for Aaron to run his own small-scale consultancy. The main business driver in the formation of LGeo is to operationalize a known market gap in geospatial consulting wherein there are very few organizations providing much-needed high-value applications of GIS in a service-oriented setting. Thus, LGeo’s main business areas will be in the delivery of key spatial data, analytical services, and applications that will be responsive to clients’ business needs and serve to build organization capacity for GIS in an emerging market. LGeo's success will be predicated on Aaron’s confidence in his ability to leverage his: • strong reputation delivering technically innovative GIS work; • enthusiastic customer-centric business model;• experience in developing market-leading geospatial analyses;• proven business acumen; and• a strong focus on technical rigor through repeatable and defensible processes. Initially LGeo will be focused on providing geospatial consulting in five practice areas:• Urban Geospatial Analysis;• Urban Energy and Emissions Modeling;• Population Accessibility Modeling; • Specialized geospatial modeling; and• GIS Management ConsultingAaron is very pleased to be launching this practice and would be happy to discuss any potential opportunities as they arise.
