Aaron Cliff is a person with great skills and profound experience in modern business solutions. He consistently demonstrated a solid work ethic when worked together along with a commitment to success. Give him the really challenging tasks, the ones that everyone else is struggling with, and he will get them done. On account of his mature approach to his responsibilities, I often thought of Aaron Cliff as a professional I could always rely upon to get the job done. Definitely someone I'd want to have on my team.

I had the great pleasure of working along side Aaron at News Magazines where he took me under his wing and gave me endless support and guidance as a young designer! In the short time I was at News, and in the time Aaron got to get a hold of the Art Direction of 2wheels magazine, I seen the transformation of a magazine that went from drab to fab, inconsistent to consistent, not to mention the transformation of the front cover! I hope in the future I will have the opportunity to work along side Aaron again. I have nothing but positive praise for this creative genius!

    • National Digital Manager
      • May 2016 - Jan 2020

I manage a team of 10 digital designers, front- and back-end developers, motion graphic editors and video editors in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane to deliver world-class advertising and marketing assets.I have developed exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) in a 20-year career as an Creative Director across print, digital and video. My stakeholder management begins with junior brand managers and ends with the News Corp CMO. The expectation on timelines and the quality of deliverables is no different at either end of the spectrum – project transparency is essential. My strong project management skills enable me to effectively coordinate state creative teams and overseas suppliers to meet deadlines for concurrent high-visibility marketing campaigns. Several are always running at one time – I am at the centre of a constant stream of dispatches to campaign managers, amendments and revisions to, and from, artworkers and negotiations of due-dates and live dates.I have developed and implemented best practice workflow and process documentation for both production and stakeholder approval phases.I am adept at translating complex or specific digital concerns into plain language for non-technical members of the marketing department. • Deputy Art Director - Alpha Magazine
      • 2005 - 2010

Working at Alpha Magazine I bridged the gap between Art and Editorial. The main focus of this position was Art Direction – design of layouts, illustration, and direction of photography – I also wrote feature articles that included sport star interviews, experiential travel stories and product reviews. On the back of a successful series of motoring reviews and travels stories , I became Motoring Editor in 2007 – a position I held until the magazine closed in 2012.AWARD: Runner-up – Launch of the YearAustralian Newsagents’ Federation Awards 2006 Show less
