Seeing Aaron's name on the schedule providing direct care counseling was always a perk to the day. Aaron is incredibly dedicated and skilled with managing the myriad of issues that can present itself with a troubled youth population from providing a stable presence to manage everyday functions of life (homework, hygiene, life skills) to managing crisis interventions calmly and professionally. The clients who worked with Aaron knew that despite whatever difficulties they had both internally and externally, Aaron would continue to be part of their clinical teams without faulting the client for whatever behaviors or insults they might throw out at the direct care staff during a crisis. This speaks volumes to not only her dedication but to her knowledge with mental health, behavioral issues, education, and crisis intervention work that she is able to separate out the crisis behavior from the client and manage both effectively and with great capability. Aaron was equally skilled with being a team member and coworker- efficiently managing time, reliable, working well with a team while also being able to step into leadership roles with the same professional capabilities that make her work so well with clients. Aaron would be an asset to any organization she chose to be a part of and I am fortunate to have benefited from my time working with her.
