Recruitment resourcer
-
Mar 2015 - May 2018
As I have developed into a Resourcer for Cordant People Taunton, my role has become extremely diverse. I am responsible for making sure that no matter what the role we will always have the perfect fit for it, as well as keeping the branch cogs turning to maximise efficiency and ultimately profit!Primarily this is achieved through a large variety of processes. These include: CV searching; telephone screening; ensuring legality of workers; interviewing, screening and fitting candidates to roles based on their requirements / experiences. Although primarily my relationships are B2C, I am also heavily involved with B2B relationships and I feel this is vital to me in my position as well as our business - not only does it help me to understand my clients and candidates more to ensure the perfect fit, but it also expands our business, whether it is new business or new areas in existing business.

May 2014 - Mar 2015
Cordant People Taunton opened in March 2007. Since then we have grown our branch to become one of the most profitable in the division across the UK.My role within the Taunton branch is an extremely diverse one. Primarily I am on the front line of recruiting for clients across the Somerset area. I endeavour to find the best candidates for our roles through a large variety of processes. These include: CV searching; telephone screening; ensuring legality of workers; interviewing, screening and fitting candidates to roles based on their requirements / experiences. Although primarily my relationships are B2C, I am also heavily involved with B2B relationships and I feel this is vital to our business; by providing an excellent and consistent high level of service for both candidates and clients, I can help either expand already existing business or develop new business for our branch and ultimately the company. To ensure the cogs keep on turning in our branch it is imperative that we work together as a team and strive for smooth and effective running of the branch. As part of a well structured team, I contribute to this through my involvement in branch administration and business development.

Primark Stores Ltd. are an international clothing retailer, providing for the public since 1969. Over the years working at Primark I have gained a multitude of skills over several positions within the company. First and foremost my role was centralised around providing outstanding customer services as well as boost sales within the company via merchandising, stock control and customer service, all with a positive attitude and a desire for improvement both of the company and myself. As well as customer service and sales driven roles, I have also dealt with the accounts and administration side of things in Primark as well as supervisory roles, with my largest achievement in these sectors involving the training and support of new accounts, administration and retail staff so they were ready to work independently when their new store opened.Looking for a change in scenery and for a placement in which I could develop my skills and climb up the ladder, I found my way into...recruitment!
