Wellington, FL With the continued growth of the company, I was offered the area manager position to run the operations of 5 different stores. This entailed monitoring the daily performance of each of the stores, when a store would struggle I would travel to that store to solve whatever the problem was. Many of the same functions of a store manager, except on a larger scale. I continued to to train all the associates that were coming into my stores, but would also maintain all of the paper work, cash handling, deposits, etc. Conversion in my stores continue to perform at their goal, and continue to get better. In this position, I also helped decide what sales we should run over holiday weekends, and even impacted on the product we received.

Wellington, FL As the company continued to open new stores, new positions opened. Since they were very impressed with my stores performance they offered me the position as Area Trainer. After the initial trainings for each store, I would continue to travel to the different locations to make sure associates were maintaining the quality of salesmanship that I had taught them. Those who had not, I retrained and gave them warnings of replacement. Every time one of the stores would plan to hire a new associate I would travel to that store and train the associate.

Starting with hiring, I went through the interview process with many potential associates and would narrow it down to the select few I saw fit for the store. This company mostly operates off of conversion percentage for their associates so training not only included POS training, and other company standards. But also involved in depth training of how to sell to a different variety of clients. Because of the expectations being high for every associate, replacing a few associates over time was inevitable and I was responsible for doing this as well.
