Superluminal is a company that develops tools and offers services for commercializing hardware product ideas. As Tech Lead, I focus my efforts on directing development efforts at Superluminal for both our internal projects and any client services. This includes software and firmware development as well as embedded design. I am also involved in product design and management, contributing towards the overall direction of the company. At Everi, I developed back-end services that manage devices and finances in a large-scale production environment at various gaming sites. I also developed user-facing desktop applications used to configure and administrate aspects of these systems. At Ilium, I designed embedded hardware and wrote firmware for Virtual Reality peripherals, such as controllers to be used in first-person shooter games. These peripherals were integrated into existing games as well as new titles to provide a more immersive experience than a standard game controller could offer. I also designed specialized hardware with accompanying desktop applications to quickly test hardware units to ensure that there were no manufacturing defects.
