• Review specifications from the Vice President of Product and build analytic reports using the Power BI analytics tool • Work in tandem with the data architect to identify any additional data needs necessary to satisfy client requests • Insure that all analytic reports follow the standardize template parameters governing acceptable fonts, colors and graph, chart and filter page orientations • Create needed formulas in the Data Analysis Expression layer of Power BI to derive additional calculations not included in the SQL query which includes, but is not limited to: o Create basic and complex calculated formulas o Add additional lookup tables to existing report schema o Binning (Grouping) various data values to categorize redundant values o General nomenclature updates for more intuitive data labeling o Calibrate and apply conditional font and background formatting to data values o Create table and matrix hyperlinks to external URLs • Assist with the identification and resolution of data issues to ensure that metrics make logical sense • Determine the best analytic representation for the type of data being represented • Publish reports to applicable Power BI workspace to be migrated to production by data architect • Monitor and promptly resolve report issue cases assigned in Salesforce to insure a continued positive client relationship • Administer all update maintenance to reporting as needed per client requests, data model changes and Power BI updates • Basic SQL report creation which includes, but is not limited to: o SQL calculated Custom Columns o Group By functions o Order by Functions o Concatenation o Where Clauses o Date Conversion o Table Joins Show less
