In 2009 I acquired my Masters in Architecture from Montana State University and, following graduation, moved back to my home state of Colorado. After several years in Colorado gaining valuable architectural experience working with both public and private sector clients, my family and I happily made the decision to return to Bozeman, Montana. With a broad range of project experience including arenas, sports facilities, installation master planning, multi-family residential, higher education and graphic branding packages, I pride myself on being a diverse professional willing to contribute in all areas of the design process.I strongly believe in listening to a client’s needs and, through creative thinking and problem solving, developing a solution that is satisfactory to the client while also being cost effective, efficient, and reflective of the aesthetic of the community. I have a passion for graphic design and diagramming, and I am continually exploring new ways to communicate designs and ideas to clients enhancing the visualization experience while gaining a deeper understanding of the project. In 2014 I made the decisions to move my family to Denver to further my career in archi-tecture. Over the past two years I have worked on a variety of unique projects at Sink Combs Dethlefs, which has given me valuable experience in a range of projects and archi-tectural design. Working as a job captain on a large and complex project for the Universi-ty of Michigan has allowed me to grow as a professional and given me experience in pro-ject management, BIM management, multi discipline coordination as well as partner firm and client coordination. Additionally, I gained valuable experience working with the contractor and being involved in construction costs discussions, value engineering, sup-plying multiple construction documents and bid packages, and construction administra-tion. I have also expanded my skill set by providing multiple graphics packages for high level clients and universities. These packages were supplemental design packages that helped transform spaces to tell a story or emphasize client branding through custom displays, graphic wall imagery, creative finishes, lighting, and brand theming. Doing this work gave me the opportunity to explore both of my passions of architecture and graphic de-sign. Show less

I was at HB&A for five years and during that time I gained valuable knowledge and improved my skills, not just in architecture, but also government sector planning. Working on both sides of the firm made me a diverse employee and an asset to the company.
