Other initiatives also include improving public health through increased physical activity and active transportation, as well as finding solutions to improve air quality. • Coordinate administrative and project activities for the Health & Road Safety program within EMBARQ • Managed a road safety data collection project in Arequipa, Peru, supporting staff in the field, and coordinated with consultants. The project aims to improve the availability of traffic crash data to help inform comprehensive road safety strategies. • Assist in developing workplans, budgets, proposals, workshops and reports. • Organized two day workshop on non-motorized transport research needs in low- and middle income countries. • Coordinated and traveled to two road safety workshops in Mexico City, Mexico and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
