  I interned at a small industrial company that specializes in manufacturing cylinder connection components, valves, and assemblies much for the packaging, transport, and process applications of compressed gases and chemicals. More specifically, I learned the basic principles of how CNC Swiss-type mill, turning, and lathe machines work in addition to learning about machine shop practices. I also led my own project under the guidance of the machine shop manager to create a database of a complete tool inventory. I also met with representatives of leading industrial vending services to decide the best option to provide a vending service that meets the companies desires.
