Which includes two large sites in Corpus Christi and Kingsville; but also includes fourteen remote sites throughout South Texas. • Configured and installed over 20 switches and 4 routers for LAN/WAN lifecycle (Cisco). • Completed 4 VPN to MPLS projects; two in Houston, 1 in Harlingen, and one in Kingsville (Cisco). • Finished a project in Kingsville to go from a half height cabinet to a full cabinet while consolidating two switches to one stack (Ruckus).

Charged with the inventory, topology drawings, along with the day to day network task. • First project was to update the IOS on fourteen Cisco switches, this addressed over ninety vulnerabilities found by an ACAS scan. • Implemented dot1x/MAB on all edge switches for the clinics at Corpus Christi, Fort Worth, and Kingsville. • Remediated 420 network STIG violations, which was instrumental on the command receiving it’s ATO.

Trained fellow team members on communication tasks; COMSEC procedures and network operations. Created Training standards for the Brigade to train over 3,000 Soldiers on the M16 during fielding of the weapon. Planned, executed and supervised the establishment of the Iraqi Brigade Warrior Skills Academy at the station training over 500 Iraqi Soldiers in 2 months. Accounted for the COMSEC keys being properly drawn and radios prepared for every mission. Responsible for the team’s interpreter program.
