  The Mobility Technician position focuses on the mobilization of patients, with special focus on post operative care. As a Mobility Technician, I work side by side with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy to help patients remain consistent with their plan of care. My daily tasks include assisting patients with the reintegration of daily activities while in the hospital. This may include assisting patients with out-of-bed transfers, using specialized equipment as needed and turning/repositioning patients to prevent potential skin breakdown and/or pressure sores. I’ve been able to assist newBin in being housed in over 20+ parks in the Erie area and have worked countless events in the Erie area, which is the location of this pilot program.
