To Whom it May Concern: As Sr Process Consultant to the President/CEO, I had the pleasure of working with Aaron at Monolith Materials. Monolith is scaling up a new, high-temperature pyrolysis process to produce rubber-grade Carbon Black for the automobile tire industry, with co-synthesis of pure, clean H2 gas for power generation. In this capacity, Aaron and I worked closely together on a day-to-day basis, troubleshooting Monolith's first of it's kind, large scale, carbon black pilot plant. Together with the whole team in Redwood City, we made considerable progress at sorting out complex scale-up issues, root cause analysis, and delivered pro-forma demonstration in record time frame for a pilot plant of its scale and complexity. This allowed MM to finalize the design basis for a commercial tire-grade carbon black plant currently being constructed in Lincoln, Nebraska. Aaron is dedicated, focused, and extremely competent plant manager, able to deal with a myriad of details yet keep in mind the global picture. I found Aaron to be unusually knowledgeable and dedicated, going above and beyond the normal call of duty to help the company succeed. His skills in managing people and leading teams are unparalleled. Aaron works well across a number of technical disciplines and is a quick study when he encounters anything new. Aaron is a true professional; always responsive and available, as well as business and solution focused. Having worked with dozens of plant managers in my tenures at BP, DOW, SUNOCO and TOTAL, spanning diverse areas such as specialty materials, carbon, silica, coke, catalysts, polysilicones, petrochemicals, refining oil & gas - I found Aaron to be very adept at leveraging his operations know, people skills, and technical talents and his management style to be truly impressive. Aaron is able to translate and condense complex information from the operating/plant environment to the business, which makes him a valuable member on any team. It was generally recognized by everyone at Monolith that Aaron was a tremendous asset, his talents as a plant manager, and leader, were crucial to the scaleup of MM's carbon black technology. I strongly recommend Aaron Hampton to anyone. Aaron started off as an operator with us and quickly proved how valuable he was. He always gave 110%, proved his abilities and quickly was promoted to operations supervisor. Even though he is young, he has the experience level of a seasoned veteren and would be an asset to anyone who is looking for a motivated, intelligent, hard working individual.
