Began working as summer help (1996, 1997) under Bob Hopkins and Lori Palmerio and component replacement projects. Formulating and testing optional polymers used in various metal working product lines. After that I generated data for a busy fluid analysis lab working under Zeke Phillips. Performing routine ASTM testing (acid splits, chlorine and aluminum titrations, Karl fisher moisture, particle counting, IR analysis, pour points, ash content, flash points, and fire points) all on in use products and advised customer when it was time to change out their metalworking fluids or inspect specific parts of the production lines.
