As an account manager at Pack Associate, my day involved duties as a sales representative with great face-to-face customer service, been in charge of events, and be responsible for its success, coaching and mentoring people and helping to develop their skills, and hitting their goals in the industry. Recruiting and interviewing on behalf of the company as we are in an expansion stage. Also running events and making sure everything runs smoothly. while there one of my biggest achievements was hitting leadership criteria within 3 and half weeks while over 10 sales that week.

While at Dunelm my main duty was in the department of goods in as a DCO although I was trained on a PPT so I did help out in other areas like admin, transport and even training new people. I worked in a team of one to two other people aiming to empty the container as quickly as possible, To be able to hit your target you had to self-manage yourself to make sure you are on target and to keep focused and motivated. As most of the time, we were busy when unloading the shop floor would get full and there would be no space available so I was constantly problem solving to find and create space so we could keep doing our job. The majority of the time there were multiple PO codes in a container so you would have to have a keen eye so you would not mix the products up so in most cases you would have to organize boxes and the paperwork so nothing would get mixed up.

While at Picsolve my duties were to sell the products at the end of the ride so that included having Great customer service skills all the time as you need to keep up the Alton towers magic, for the majority of the time, I was alone was where short-staffed but even so, I managed to keep up with the sales with units with more people on than me. As I was on my own and the equipment was pretty outdated so there were issues that happened, so I was having to constantly use my self-initiative and problem-solving skills to work a way around the issues.
