Bio
Dan M.
Aaron is one of the finest game producers I've had the pleasure of working with in my career. He cares deeply about the people and projects he works with. He has in my experience almost unrivaled attention-to-detail and commitment to quality. When I started, he already had mastery over a fairly technical area of production that I needed to learn and was consistently gracious and great at bringing me up to speed. He has a sixth-sense for areas of potential risk and over-commitment -- calling these out and helping his teams avoid mistakes. He also cares for and protects his teams. He restarted, led, and made significant contributions as part of an internal team dedicated to championing culture -- organizing and ordering team swag, apparel, and team-building off-site events. Aaron is also meticulously organized, taking and sending out detailed notes with clearly documented follow-up items and progress metrics. He regularly takes on the hardest and highest visibility projects -- letting no details slip. Aaron is a force-multiplier in producing quality outcomes and healthy teams.

Aaron is the kind of guy that you only hear about in movies. On a near-daily basis he'd exhibit the kind of enthusiasm for his work that you wish you could see in all your colleagues, and that enthusiasm was equalled by his ability to carry out extremely high quality work. Aaron is thorough, efficient, and seemingly excited to just BE there. While being ramped up to help on the project he led, Aaron gave a comprehensive breakdown in a brief period of time, but more valuable: he readily availed himself for just about any minute question I'd have (as I recall, there were many). So... high enthusiasm, high quality work, and a great amount of respect and consideration for his peers. Little more to ask for. But Aaron had extra-curricular activities as well. The amount was somewhere in the "How do you have time for this?" range, so it's hard to give a number, but they were always efforts that improved the quality of our team, and often the department as a whole. Just a couple examples: he took time to get to know everyone on the team and do all he could to help us improve our skills, exercise our strengths in other areas of the department, and even provide portfolio content for promotions. He even organized a book club! Working with Aaron was a real treat, and while I didn't work on his project, we interacted often enough that it was abundantly clear that he, more than many I know, deserves to be described as a professional.
