Here, a typical 4 hour work day consisted of milking 200 cows, feeding and watering 20 calves, feeding all the cows you just milked, and bedding all the calves down every other day. Along the way, I assisted in putting up miles of electric fencing lines, de-horning calves, chasing loose cattle, castrating bulls, and power washing the milking parlor and barn.
