  As a field intern, I worked on site alongside the heavy concrete construction crews as we focused on the new water treatment facility for the city of Sioux Falls. Setting forms, rebar, and pouring concrete were an everyday activity. Using total stations and associated survey equipment to accurately place forms was crucial. I was operating equipment such as telehandlers and track loaders daily, as well as using my knowledge of working with cranes to work with crane that was operating on site daily. I was solely responsible for the erection, aided in the installation, of the EFCO shoring system used for our 360yd elevated walkway and structural beam pour that took place over 30’ up from the ground floor. I also assisted in cost codes and helped the field engineer with his work as needed. Show less
