As a Student Ambassador and Tour Trainer Anthony's leadership and personality will be truly missed at Champlain. As the transfer coordinator, I often relied on Anthony and his experience transferring to Champlain to connect with prospective transfer students. Anthony was always willing to answer questions prospective students and families had both remotely and during campus visits. Anthony was professional yet brought a sense of humor and realness to every interaction. His experience and willingness to participate in both virtual and in-person events made every event flow more smoothly. I have received countless compliments about Anthony from students and parents he met with. They appreciated his patience, willingness to answer questions, and always making them feel valued. He was knowledgeable about Champlain and was able to communicate it with a true sense of compassion and connection. Anthony was a true leader at Champlain and on the Student Ambassador Team. His peers and professional staff members looked up to him for how he carried himself and was able to connect with others. With strong technical and professional skills, Anthony leads by example, motivating and empowering his co-workers to do their best. He knew how to boost morale among his team and created comradery by hosting events everyone played a role. Anthony will undoubtedly be a strong asset to any professional organization. Not only will he be a leader, but his collaboration skills and humor would make any team fortunate to have him.

Anthony has shown himself to be a key utility player for the Champlain College Admissions office. Having joined the student ambassador team in the middle of an academic year, he rose to the challenge of learning his responsibilities quickly to engage with prospective students during daily campus visits and large event programs. As the pandemic started in March 2020, Anthony seamlessly pivoted with the team to engage with prospective students virtually. As a public representative for the college, his authenticity, ease of communicating with students from a diverse array of backgrounds, and positive demeanor during challenging times directly impacted the college's enrollment success. In his final year, Anthony was promoted to the leadership role of Tour Trainer where he continues to show strong communication skills across platforms, flexibility as a team player, and has fostered a sense of community for student leaders. His impact on the ambassador program will certainly be felt for years to come.
