      Worked with the BCIT School of Business and 6 schools from the Burnaby School District to put together the 3rd Annual BCIT High School Case Competition presented by Fairmont. This competition intended to give high school students their first exposure to a post-secondary-level business case and help them lay a foundation in important business and marketing concepts. Students that participated developed important skills including teamwork, public speaking, critical thinking and creative problem-solving.This year's competition was held on November 19, 2022, and as the project manager, I was responsible for the following:• Recruiting and training 17 student mentors• Creating content for the students on various topics for the three training sessions• Organizing and running the virtual and in-person training sessions• Attending weekly meetings with mentors, the BCIT School of Business and the Burnaby School District• Helping organize the flow of competition dayThe competition impacted 100+ students in their personal and professional development and gave 17 BCIT students volunteering opportunities to mentor. Enactus, the BCIT School of Business and our 7 sponsors made the 3rd annual BCIT High School Case Competition so successful. Show less
