Rarely one comes across someone with as much drive as Aaditya. I had the pleasure of sharing my time with Aaditya during our post graduation at IITK. He was been prolific in problem solving on Aerodynamics fundamentals and applicative problems. He has an acumen for optimizing the path way to a solution, be it via coding or analytical. I was amazed to know that apart from being knowledgeable on Aerodynamics, Aaditya has appreciable management and leadership skills, something that takes some years to come by. Aaditya would be a valuable asset to any team!

Multidisciplinary work involves design and optimization of conceptual air breathing hypersonic vehicle. Four different modules - Aerodynamics, Aerodynamics, Thermo-Structures and Stability were designed and analysed using MATLAB. Scramjet integrated waverider was designed using Stream Thrust Analysis. Forebody of the vehicle was designed using oblique shock relation. Combustion unit was designed using Turbulent shear mixing relationship and generalised ODE for heat addition with increasing area for constant pressure. Nozzle was designed using Method of characteristics. Thermostructural analysis was carried out by calculating aerodynamic heat flux and subsequently determining the equilibrium wall temperature for given thickness amd material. Waverider concepts were incorporated in integration of the vehicle and subsequently shock expansion method was used to calculate aerodynamic forces acting on the vehicle. Stability analysis was performed to calculate position orientation and shape of the stabilizer. Various parameters were identified and parameterization was performed linking input and output parameters. NSGA and ANN concepts was used to build surrogate model which is used for optimisation of the vehicle. Show less
