Ben is a highly skilled marketing exec who knows how to get the job done. I had the pleasure of working with him on several projects at AWI/Woolmark and he was excellent at maintaining the commitment to positive outcomes in what were often difficult circumstances. Ben is a great leader!

I worked with Ben as a colleague at AWI and held him in very high regard as did all his peers, colleagues and staff. Ben is smart, passionate, committed and gets things done. He has an enormous capacity for hard work and led major change programs at AWI (and completed his doctorate besides). Ben also has a great sense of humour and a capacity to inspire people.

I was a member-elected Director to the Australian Chamber of Commerce Shanghai (AustCham Shanghai) the peak body for Australian business in China. As a membership-based organisation, AustCham Shanghai represents more than 400 businesses and individuals providing support, education, advocacy and business services. AustCham Shanghai is a bridge between Australian and Chinese organisations, facilitating connectivity and promoting bilateral trade between Australia and China. The Chamber successfully links Australian organisations with Chinese counterparts and potential business partners, enhancing the trade relationship between the two countries. China is Australia's largest trading partner and in 2014 the two-way trade relationship was worth over $150 billion - a growing dynamic that AustCham Shanghai plays an active role in facilitating. Dulwich College International (DCI) started operations in China in 2003, with the establishment of Dulwich College in Shanghai, a co-educational, academic institution offering education to the expatriate community, with the same educational philosophy of Dulwich College in London. Following the success of Shanghai, DCI has established Dulwich Colleges in Beijing, Suzhou, Singapore (opened in 2014 with a record 880 enrollments), Yangon, and Seoul. These colleges are among the leading international schools in each city with a strong reputation for quality education. As Director I sat on the Boards of management for all Dulwich International schools and programmes leading strategic direction and operational accountability for each institution. Along with expanding the Dulwich College international schools, DCI has opened Dulwich College International High School Programmes in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, located next to Macau; and in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The High School Programmes are aimed at providing the Dulwich concept of education to local Chinese students wishing to study at universities overseas. The success of these Colleges and Programmes has established DCI as a leading provider of international school education in Asia, a group that now boasts over 7,500 students. All of our colleges and programmes are focused on providing a balanced education centered on academic challenge and excellence, competitive sports, strength in the visual and performing arts, and a sense of responsibility towards the community. Today DCI, together with Dulwich College in London, is in partnership to expand the Dulwich network around the world, with a specific focus toward the major global financial and cultural capitals.
