  Conducted ethnographic research among fishermen to establish a baseline understanding of patterns and behaviors of subsistence fishing off major infrastructure in Carteret Co., NC. Examined the role of access to fishing infrastructure in supporting the livelihoods, informal economies, and social ties between fishermen and their families through on-site semi-structured interviews and surveys.

• Manhattan Project Intern: Untold Stories of the Manhattan Project

  Conducted and transcribed oral history interviews of Pueblo Indian tribes and Hispano communities on the impacts of the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos, NM, to document local stories often omitted from mainstream historical accounts on the Manhattan Project. Compiled a database of new and existing oral histories for the National Park Service to inform the creation of interpretive exhibits at the Manhattan Project National Historical Park.

Published a peer-reviewed manuscript on the survey findings
