I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Matheson in 2016. I was invited curator for the international project Meet in the Middle: Stations of Migration and Memory Between Art and Film (Canada, Regina). She was the lead curator of the project. It was inspiring to see her professional attitude and empowering environment created by her. Her professional abilities coupled with critical thinking skills make Elizabeth Matheson a great leader and a very pleasant person to work with. As an invited curator I felt that my opinions matter and she was open for dialogue. I feel that this is one of many key elements that define her as a skillful professional I am sure, that Elizabeth Matheson would be the key to success in any project and I am looking forward to work with her again.

Élise Beaudry-Ferland

Exceptional manager and mentor, who I had the privilege to have for a numbers of years. I learned a lot from Elizabeth working as an assistant curator for the curatorial project W.A.N.T.E.D. and I had the opportunity to be managed and supervised by her at the City of Regina. Elizabeth's knowledge, attention to details, dedication and hard work led our team to successfully complete multiple challenging projects. She always managed to deal with tough situations and to guide me trough difficult tasks carefully and respectfully. Her door was always opened and she welcomed me into her office anytime. I miss working under her management and would not hesitate to work for and with her anytime. Elizabeth will be a great asset to any team that will have the chance to have her.
