  Continuing my relationship with SRQ Magazine after an editorial internship in 2019, I am pleased to now be working with this hyper-local platform as a Contributing Editor. As a freelance writer, my articles appear in the monthly print editions and span an array of topics, including deeper dives into local organizations and restaurants, as well as intimate profiles of those living in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas who are enriching and expanding our community.

  Selected to work as a teaching assistant for the first year seminar “Designing Creativity,” which explores the design process in all areas of work, play, and study. Rather than asking the question "How creative are you?" we ask our students, "How are you creative?" Responsible for leading lab workshops, grading reflection papers, providing educational and social support for students, and assisting the professors in day-to-day class activities and lectures.

  Interned as an Editorial Associate for SRQ Magazine, earning an increase of responsibilities and assignments as the summer advanced. Attended editorial meetings, submitted pitches and research for stories, aided in photoshoots, and wrote ~30 articles that were published online, in the Daily e-newsletter and/or in the monthly print magazine. Ranging from 300-word reviews of local stores and restaurants to 1,000-word features, gained real-world reporting and writing experience for a local media… Interned as an Editorial Associate for SRQ Magazine, earning an increase of responsibilities and assignments as the summer advanced. For six months, designed and formatted online Health articles, wrote the weekly Arts and Entertainment Calendar, and wrote a 1,200 word article, published September 2016.
