As manager, I held the responsibility of training new employees, switching and cleaning the ice cream machines daily, laundering linens, accepting deliveries, stocking materials, ordering new supplies, creating the employee shift schedules, calculating employee hours for paychecks, handling customer service issues, managing the money from the registers at the end of the night, opening/closing the shoppe, and cleaning and maintaining the picnic tables and grounds around the property. These responsibilities were in addition to the standard expectations of a regular employee, which include food preparation and operating the cash register.
