While working at Mountain View Benefits I was shown various areas of marketing. From rebranding the company voice, social media management and communications. Social Media Management: As I was bursting with creative ideas I was tasked to create a social media calendar. First wanted to test out the market. I did a competitor analysis, social listening, and market research on group health insurance. I started by testing types of content to see what resonated with their target audience the most. I posted relevant informational articles with interesting content to show thought leadership and about their amazing employees. This allowed me to gain insights into what their target market liked most. This led me to my next steps... I created an original calendar tailored to their needs. To spice up their social media, I created authentic employee videos, blogs, infographics, and flyers that incorporated SEO. The copywriting I did for blogs had SEO implemented throughout while giving helpful information to employers and employees. I heard the company story of how they became a one man show, to a small business and wanted to show that on their page. I gathered insights from all the staff to create a compelling story to enhance their brand voice on LinkedIn and employee profiles. Rebranding: I showcased their brand voice through corporate communications, external copy, and social media. By developing LinkedIn sales tips, scripts, and training; to the overall readability and color theory implemented throughout the company platforms. I thrived when getting to assist with website copy and choosing impactful images to capture attention. I helped increase followers, rebranding that showcased their genuine professional brand personality, enhanced external and internal communications, and managed the expectations of their stakeholders. This administrative position was the first design administrative position in the company. I hit the ground running, creating the role into something of my own. I was eager to learn new things and was very efficient. I consistently took on new tasks, no matter the challenge. While at Sterling Homes I created the administrative design manual, grasped new concepts with ease, and when administrative tasks were complete I ensured to help out other departments. I was able to move one of the biggest permit applications online using my interpersonal skills. This saved time and money for Sterling Homes. They no longer had to pay for this large permit document to be printed and couriered. Documents got approved faster which made permits get approved faster. This position enhanced my time management skills as I assisted various departments and time was of the essence! Show less

While working at Statesman I used my excellent interpersonal skills to manage tenant relationships and increased retention during difficult times. I created internal communications systems to assist with task management. To show appreciation I suggested to management that tenant loyalty would increase if we were to do tenant events as it would help tenants get to know each other and create a more welcoming environment. Management agreed and I created memorable experiences to enhance tenant loyalty and boost the office morale. I was thrilled when given the opportunity to create a website and implement content writing to assist one of my tenants. Additionally, I assisted in creating a Business Instagram profile and figured out how to differentiate my tenants' profile. I enjoyed learning new technologies, conducting competitive research and analyzing data. Show less

While working at the Children's Dental Centre, I started as a new grad learning specialty dentistry. My dentists pushed me to go above and beyond which helped me increase my interpersonal skills to create memorable experiences for children who were anxious about coming in. I was given the opportunity to do marketing to increase brand awareness. I enhanced their reach into new markets through creative marketing strategies. By conducting in-depth market research I was able to create inbound and outbound marketing strategies to get their target market excited about oral health. I coordinated events to directly engage with their potential target market using an educational approach. By getting them interested in their oral health I was able to increase their clientele. Additionally, I collaborated with local influencers to increase their online presence. This assisted in growing their Instagram and cast a wider net for potential clientele. Show less

As a receptionist, I specialized in conflict resolution by utilizing effective communication skills and ensuring their high customer satisfaction. When guests would drop in, I leveraged my strong interpersonal skills to generate leads and grow the business. I also increased sales by creating codes for guest drop-ins which enhanced leads for the sales team. Once gaining experience, I took the initiative to create a detailed manual for the position. After about two years, I trained receptionists on internal processes, documentation, and how to convert guests into leads. Show less
