  "Gabbai" means treasurer in Hebrew, and my primary role is to coordinate services & activities in our synagogue. In addition to my role as a Gabbai, I am honored to serve as the Editor of our vibrant community newsletter. I take pride in curating and disseminating Torah wisdom, inspiring stories, and community updates that foster a sense of togetherness and connection among our congregation. My responsibilities include: • Working closely with the Executive Rabbi, providing support during services, and helping with administrative tasks related to our congregation. • Presiding at special events like weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and High Holidays. • Managing the order and flow of services, coordinating Torah readings and individual assignments, and ensuring that everything proceeds smoothly and efficiently. • Welcoming visitors and guests to our synagogue, helping them feel comfortable, and assisting with any questions they may have. • Maintenance and care of sacred items.
