In addition to my duties as a member of the full-time faculty, I served as our school's Vice Dean. I led our efforts in assessment of learning outcomes and institutional goals, accreditation compliance, and strategic planning, and supervise most of the internal functions of the school, including academic affairs, student services, and operations.

Assistant District Attorney

Wrote briefs and presented oral arguments in direct appeals and collateral attacks, including habeas corpus litigation in federal court. Claims briefed include: prosecutorial misconduct (Brady, Batson, improper summation and cross-examination, and discovery violations), speedy trial, suppression, legal sufficiency, weight of the evidence, and evidentiary issues. Trained and supervised approximately ten attorneys who, on a part-time basis, litigated post-adjudication insanity review hearings. Represented the People in highly complex and sensitive insanity review cases.
