  I have been working at Mango for the past 10 years. In my first task I was asked to create and develop a new online sales platform from scratch. I had to decide which technology to use, understand the business needs of the company and learn how to work in an ever-changing environment. They wanted me to quickly create a multi-layer, structured, flexible, configurable and easy-to-maintain application which would double the number of visits and sales each year. I conducted most of the initial implementation, the core of which is still in operation and serves a much greater volume of traffic than for which it was designed. This website is today one of Europe's most important online sales platforms, receiving over one million hits per month. After this, and for some years, I was in charge of the maintenance and expansion of the platform to adapt it to the new needs of the dynamic and ever-changing environment that is e-commerce. Three years ago we migrated our ecosystem to Amazon Web Services, having to optimise all applications and learn how to take full advantage of the new hosting system. Currently, I am part of the team in charge of directing the implementation of our new platform, having to define a new framework, decide the tools and technologies to use and make technical decisions about establishing the foundations for a new generation of e- commerce at the company. Throughout my years working at Mango, I have learned how to improve my ability to solve critical situations, to stay calm even under stress and to analyse and digest large amounts of information in order to synthesise the same and decide on how best to implement implicit functional needs.
