When I first started working for Zoe I warned her "I haven't had a boss for 15 years, so I'm sorry if I'm difficult to manage." And I'm sure I have been, but she's been nothing but a pleasure to work for. Zoe advocates for the right ideas, and without exception every time I let something that's not right or of lowish quality slip past she catches it. She's incredible at asking the right questions and getting to the bottom of decisions. She's excellent at building trust with her reports, backing them when they're right, and letting them know when they're not. She's fast to make decisions and organized in her check-ins. Excellent active listening skills and great at recognizing, recruiting and promoting talent. It's been an honor to work for her.
