  After running The Beach Cottages Company for ten years, it was a smooth lateral transition becoming an independent contractor at Prudential Network Realty. I have enjoyed staying in touch with the families who would come to vacation with us in Saint Augustine. It has been a nice change to have a big corporate structure around me, while I work to develop advertising and marketing for my listings, finding the right homes for my buyers, managing all the technology. I'm always hoping to increase customer satisfaction and sales. Our office is very collaborative in training and support.   The Beach Cottages Company was a labor of love that grew out of the blessing of a great home and a great child! I wanted to be a Mom first for Hunter and keep Tara Haven while we were in Philadelphia with Hunter's Dad. So, voila! I started Beach Cottage Rent, which morphed into The Beach Cottages Company. It was a great time for 10 years and allowed me to be Hunter's Mom, keep our home and grow alot!   Thanks to Mike Wahl at The Howard Marlboro Group, I was able to start Equisport Marketing in 1985. My passion for horses and equestrian sports took a professional turn, and with Mike's help, we brought Bollinger Champagne to the International Jumping Derby in Newport and to The Hampton Classic. In 1987, with the help of Mike Lazarus, I won the Land Rover account and developed the REINS program for Land Rover which ran for 17 years. We sponsored equestrian events from Key Biscayne & Palm Beach Polo, to Newport CA and Joan Irvine Smith, to The Hampton Classic. It was great! We also incorporated off-road driving clinics, sometimes running 40 or so events a year. It was a terrific experience. It started slowing down when I had Hunter, and as he became a toddler, he was less portable, and we needed to be home more. Show less

  By a great stroke of luck, I met Mike Wahl at the Old Field Farm Horse Shows in Stony Brook. I had been working the public relations, advertising and sponsor relations for Hugh Cassidy for a couple of years. Mike like my self-starting abilities and people skills, and brought me to HMG. It was the most fantastic job! I worked directly for Mike, Don Dixon in sports marketing and Mickey Miller in Marketing.
