Junior Associate Product Manager

Jun 2016 - Jul 2017
As a Junior Associate Product Manager, my role was to provide sales and product support to the sales team, as well as administrative tasks for the marketing team. I experiences a wide array of business contexts such as sales pitches, product implementations, training sessions, and a cadaver workshop. I also learnt a great deal of practical office skills. Working in the context of the medical industry and supplying customers with medical goods meant I was often working in high pressure situations, which taught me how to deal with such and efficiently problem solve.

Customer Assistant

Sep 2012 - Sep 2014
Working at Boots developed my character hugely. As a customer assistant it was imperative that I had a great deal of knowledge about the store layout and the products, developing my ability to retain information. I loved working in the customer facing environment, and got a great sense of achievement when helping customers, whether this be just showing them where something was located or spending a significant time period with them helping them to choose something. I was extremely pleased to win the "Star of the month" three times throughout the two years; a reward given to the stores member of staff with the best customer feedback. Whilst working at Boots every weekend throughout studying for my A-Levels was difficult, it taught me great discipline and gave me a great work ethic, as well as some great friends that I am still in touch with.

Waitress

Oct 2011 - May 2012
Waitressing at Oriental Palace was my first ever job. I was so eager to enter the working world and make my own money. I worked here throughout the weeknights after school and most weekend evenings as well, which was incredibly tiring but extremely rewarding and taught me great discipline. I thrived under the customer facing working environment and ensured to make customers' experiences as pleasant as possible.
