As Director of Academic Technology I manage the Academic Technology help desk by directly supervising both Audiovisual and Desktop Support efforts. I implement processes and procedures that improve the department's efforts. I provide solutions that enhance customer outcomes and determine business requirements for IT Systems. I advise the Dean of Academic Technology on hardware and software purchases including audiovisual design and configuration. I direct and support the implementation of new software and hardware in addition to researching instructional technologies to support teaching and learning. Among all of these duties I design, develop, and deliver training to faculty, students, and staff. Develop accompanying learning materials through appropriate mediums. Among regular IT management responsibilities I play a proactive role in identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security. Audiovisual Instructional Technology Specialist

As the Audiovisual Instructional Technology Specialist. I oversee all of the AV aspects of the law school including the infrastructure of AV systems, Video recording, and computer systems supporting the classrooms and conference rooms. I provide faculty & staff training in these systems as well as write relevant documentation for our Knowledge Base. I've served as the Classroom Technology and Student Support Technician for the first four years I worked for the law school; providing computer support to students, overseeing the classroom AV technology, lab computers, and printing. Through out my career at the law school I have provided desktop support for faculty and staff and have offered insight and direction for numerous multi-departmental projects with the communications and admissions teams. I played an integral role in the design and vision for the law schools current AV systems during its conception and continue to play an intimate role in the building systems as they are related to AV including lighting and building access.
