As a software engineer, I developed a product that provides diagnostic data about devices and services in the HFC network, which is used by second-level customer support operators. By adapting and introducing the application to new markets, I helped extend its reach and impact to new customers across the globe. Both the central part and market-specific applications are deployed on AWS. I leveraged Kotlin and Spring Boot 2 to create a powerful and scalable backend and used a distributed in-memory data grid (Hazelcast) to optimize data retrieval and processing. The applications are implemented in accordance with the functional paradigm using the Arrow-kt library. On the frontend, I utilized Vue.js framework to build a sleek and user-friendly interface that met the needs of our diverse user base. System monitoring is ensured through the use of Grafana and AWS Athena. Show less
