The company that became Vencore was divested from Lockheed Martin in Nov 2010. I was the Systems Integration–Product Engineering group subject matter expert for radar sensors. I acted as team lead on several efforts for legacy systems and new systems, but more commonly served as technical expert to support and develop other team leads. We advised our customers on the acquisition of large complex systems, ensuring performance requirements reflect mission needs and flow down properly. My responsibilities included image processing analysis and sensor performance analysis; acting as chief spokesperson in many forums both internal and external; providing status and results briefings to customer management.
