When I applied to be a counselor at a Pine Springs for the summer of 2008, I did not expect what was in front of me. A position for a college kid to run around with a video camera 24/7, every day of the week and capture serious and hilarious things in the Christian camp environment was too good to be true. I accepted the job, and had 3 wonderful and fast paced summers. I learned how to capture video and edit for long long hours at a time, (frequent all-nighters). Managing the camp's social presence on facebook & twitter was a learning experience as well.I would have to say this is the position that launched my future into existence. Sounds ridiculous I know. I was only a mere camp videographer, but I took the job and made it much more serious than that. My mission was to create the absolute best video of summer camp kids had ever seen in their lives. That way, when those campers went home and let their friends watch, they too would have to be at Pine Springs next year! This job fit me to a T. I made a lot of contacts too. Lots of lifelong friends and future business relationships. I truly am thankful for Pine Springs and LCU. They have done so much for me.Most of the videos below are "wrap-up" videos narrated by the counselors. To see the actual full length video in its original form, you would have had to have been there and bought a DVD. Or come find me. Hah. I still have a complete archive. And some never before seen Blu-Ray editions.
