Joshua Ortiz
My name is Joshua Ortiz and I am a filmmaker in Orlando and I have had the pleasure of working with Christian Patrick in two of my short films. Working with kids can be very tough for directors and it can lead to wasted hours because most children just don't have the experience and patience to work efficiently on a film set. However, Christian is extremely easy to work with and he takes direction better than some adult actors that I have worked with. I have directed two short films with children and I made sure that Christian was in both of them. I enjoyed working with Christian so much in my first short film that I made sure to write my second short film around him to ensure that he plays a big role in the film. I cannot emphasize enough how much potential Christian has as an actor. He does a wonderful job of being a kid and having fun with other cast members off camera while also being very professional while being on camera. Other than being a great actor, I can see that he is a very disciplined and respectful kid with a bright future ahead of him.

Christian was a supporting cast member in the Garden Theatre's 2-hour youth production of "Oliver!," that had a total of 3 performances on July 20, 21 and 22 in 2012. Christian played the part of little orphan boy, Baby Bop. He had no speaking part in the role, but Christian group-performed and sang in various songs throughout the prodction, including "Food Glorious Food," "You've Got to Pick A Pocket Or Two," "Oom-Pah-Pah" and others.
