In the Summer of 2018, I reported directly to Alicia as an IT intern. Alicia, has truly made my time here at Seaboard Foods invaluable. She was always available to answer any of my questions while allowing me to learn the different steps and processes on my own. Through Alicia's mentorship I have been able to provide useful, practical, and impactful deliverables to Seaboard Foods even as an intern. My skills as a business analyst grew innumerably as Alicia has mentored me. Playing the intricate role as a middle man between the business and its' developers is crucial in every business. Alicia taught me how to generate quality diagrams and documentation to show various business and system processes and how to effectively communicate with the business to get useful information. In this role, Alicia was responsible for partnering with key leaders across a multitude of business channels to help evaluate, justify, prioritize, define requirements, project manage, design/execute testing, and implement system enhancement solutions which improved Seaboard Foods CRM and business intelligence capabilities.
