I had the opportunity to work with Cori during their time as a Community Associate at AWAL. This was at a time when I had moved over the digital distro for one of the independent artists I manage from Ditto; we did this for a variety of reasons, but essentially it was to set up the distro for my company Singular Arts Group to enable us the avenue to act as a label imprint when the opportunity would arise for the various artists and projects we are involved in; we are still with AWAL (happily) to this day since signing the deal with them back in November 2020. Cori served as one of the primary points of contact for us in our communication and dealings with transferring catalogue to AWAL, delivering releases to AWAL, setting up those new releases for success, and also for helping us to troubleshoot / problem-solve various obstacles that came up. I can vouch that Cori is a passionate, hard-working, and reliable music industry professional; this is a person who cares deeply about music, particularly independent music, and has a level of empathy and emotional intelligence which you simply don't experience often enough in this business. I look forward to and welcome future opportunities to have the privilege to work with Cori again.
