Bio
Veronika Jankovicova
Having worked almost ten years at European Parliament, I find Jana as a strong communicator with great negotiation skills. She proved several times that she is able to face problems with empathy, tact and humor. As I had a possibility to be present at launch of her comparative analysis at European Parliament –
David Cox
I was very impressed with Jana’s skills, abilities, professionalism, enthusiasm and motivation throughout the time I worked with her. She is able to work independently and with limited supervision; producing work on time to a high standard. She possesses a thorough understanding of the institutions and legislative procedures of the EU; has excellent research, analysis and policy development skills along with both an ability and willingness to go beyond what is required of her. In particular, she single-handedly compiled (from 14 countries) and prepared a report on the mortgage markets in Europe; combining EU legislation in the form of the Mortgage Directive with national legislative frameworks in order to understand expected changes in legislation. This report was delivered to an extremely high standard, under significant time pressure and on top of her daily workloads. Without Jana’s commitment to this task, the report would not have been ready in time for its official launch. Jana is a real credit to the UIPI.
